About the Land

As you prepare for your retreat, we invite you to familiarize yourself with the history of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and their commitment to and investment in our town of Sequim (pronounced Skwim). We are grateful to be living in a community that honors the ancestors of this land (human, and especially non human ancestors).

We ask that you honor an ongoing commitment to cultivating peace and kindness to others.

May we share the merit of these peace practices with all beings everywhere!

About Rajani

Rajani Levis has held licenses in California, New Mexico, and Washington. Having won prestigious career awards, written, published, taught, and practiced, she has witnessed the growth and healing of countless students, therapists, and clients.

Now, she has chosen the trees and birds as her new teachers and mentors.

She invites you to walk a self-guided pilgrimage on this sacred land, so you too might become a student of the school of the trees.

Deep Healing comes from within.
Peace is already within our hearts.

The Wisdom of our non human allies can help us touch the peace and healing alive in us!

Rajani Venkatraman Levis has a gift for weaving unique tapestries, planting healing gardens, and building warm, welcoming communities. Her practice, teaching, trainings, and writing honor mutuality, cultural attunement, and the lived wisdom that each person carries. Along the way, she became a Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant in EMDR therapy, and a CAMFT Certified Supervisor.

Recipient of the 2015 CAMFT Educational Foundation Grant, Rajani has been called a visionary and continues to mentor those deeply engaged in their own inner work. Rajani brings warmth, wisdom, and depth to every interaction—and helps others reconnect with themselves through nature, rest, and care. She is also the creative force behind Talking About Therapy—a gathering place for therapists seeking to integrate personal transformation with professional growth. She empowers therapists to co-create spaces where healing, belonging, and inner peace can take root.

In response to the deep stress, tech addled restlessness and exhaustion felt by so many, Rajani is reimagining the possibilities for self healing. Through individualized residential retreats on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, she invites therapists, healers, and their clients into experiences of restoration, creativity, and connection with land, lineage, and community.

“On my life journey, I have walked in the footsteps of ancestors and teachers from many wisdom traditions. I have walked through trauma fields to discover sacred ground - and this to me, is an important aspect of pilgrimage.

As I step away from active clinical practice in the field of psychotherapy, this land now bears the imprint of what has been so generously gifted to me through teachers and clients, from cultural and wisdom lineages around the globe.

I have asked deep questions of meaning, while witnessing each person’s unique healing journey from trauma to wholeness. And I have traced the paths of healing shown to me onto the Earth here in a variety of unusual ways.

Come walk your own sacred journey around the Mandala of your Self - discover the truth of who you are. Rediscover your own true nature as Love, Love, Love.”
