Invitations from the Forest

Warm Welcome from the School of the Trees.

Over the past year, these big trees here have become some of my closest friends. They inhale what I exhale and I am so grateful to inhale what they exhale.

Diagnosed with bronchial asthma at 10 months of age, and growing up in one of the most densely populated (polluted) cities in India, my lungs still have a lot to learn about breathing. Breathing with the trees has become one of the most nurturing and regenerative practices for my mind-body-spirit.

Oftentimes, I come sit near the trees with my heart ache and restlessness, my achy body and my buzzing head. The gift of being near the relative stillness of these rooted beings is beyond the scope of words. It is a wordless recalibration of the nervous system in the safety of a greater connectedness. It is a living embodiment of InterBeing.

We InterAre.

This is the first and most important blessing of the School of the Trees.

Come join me in this experience of InterBeing with the Land and the Trees and all the creatures that call this home.
